I met up with the M Family at Birds Hill Park this fall on what was one of the most beautiful fall days in Manitoba. If you want to plan for perfect fall photos, picking a date in late September or early October is the best time in Winnipeg. The colours are turning bright orange, yellow and red, and the weather is more mild. Not only that, but the sun sets earlier so the golden hour beauty that we all want for our photos is finally at a reasonable time of day.
I absolutely love the energy their boys bring to the session. They were jumping, climbing running, yet still giggling (and cuddling up for cute poses) in between all their adventuring. This gave us lots of beautiful family poses but also some fun candid moments. (I especially loved their rock jumping – totally unscripted and unposed. They were so fun!)
