It’s finally here, the long-awaited post of Melissa & Steve’s wedding in the Dominican Republic. Work has gotten busy in the past 3 weeks since we came back, and although I had the photos all over facebook a while ago, for some reason it took me a little longer to finally make a blog post. But here it is! I had an amazing time out there, and I’m very happy that I was able to be Melissa & Steve’s wedding photographer. Not only did the wedding photos turn out great, but our time with their family and friends was just as much a highlight of the trip. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and at times a riot, and I’m sure that’s a testament to Melissa & Steve and the type of people they love to be surrounded by. Melissa was GORGEOUS, of course, and Steve was pretty handsome himself too! (and it was the first time ever that I was wearing the same exact shoes for a wedding shoot as the groom! ha!)
I also want to thank my husband, Chad, who did a great job as my second photographer. He’s got a great knack for those candid, spur of the moment shots that capture so much in such a brief moment! The four of us had a fun time, especially running around on the almost-deserted beach! (it was raining on and off, so we had the pleasure of having a beach virtually tourist-free!) And of course, Chad was great at holding things for me. (check out the picture at the very bottom of this post, it says it all!)
very helpful indeed!
