Oooooh, love is in the air! I finally met Valérie and Mario after almost a year of only knowing each other by phone and e-mail. They first contacted me about their wedding last year, and made plans for an engagement session this summer. It was great to finally meet them, and even more awesome to find out that Mario’s family is friends with my sister’s in-laws’ in-laws all the way in Saskatchewan! (did I confuse you yet?) The franco-manitoban/saskatchewan connection is alive and well!
We broke up the session by spending half the time in the cobblestone charm of Winnipeg’s Exchange District to get an urban look, then we had an outfit change and headed over to Waterfront Drive to get some more greenery photos. All in all, it was a fun, relaxed day with a beautiful couple completely enamored by each other. Now I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next summer! Félicitations vous deux !
