Summertime family photos are some of my favourites to shoot. When Candace asked me if we could schedule something in August, and that they had a perfect location for their family of seven, I was all in. Their kids are so adorable, each with their own distinct personality, and being able to round them up to capture these memories in their family journey brings me immeasurable joy. We hiked down to Sturgeon Creek (I can’t believe no one fell in the creek, including my big camera bag!) and we got to exploring the fish in the creek, watched the kids play with rocks and tall reeds, and also had fun taking photos of them wrestling (and piling on!) their dad. It was so sweet to finally meet their newest addition, the cute little red-fluffy-haired Sylvie, who brings such a light and glow to their crew.
