I’ve been taking photos for Zeya’s family for many years and grad season has been an extra special time for them. In the last several years, each of Zeya’s older siblings got a turn at high school graduation photos with me, and this week it was finally her turn! She is the last of the four siblings to graduate, but not the least, that’s for sure! Zeya is fun, spunky and has a lovability factor through the roof. It’s been such a delight getting to know her and seeing her grow up in front of my camera.
More recently, I got to spend more time with her as she’s assisted me on a few photo shoots in the last year. Watching her passion for photography grow has been inspiring. She’s creative, spontaneous, open to new opportunities and not ever hesitant to lend a helping hand. It was a delight to meet up with the whole crew for family photos, but especially fun to take grad portraits for Zeya.
We met up at the St. Boniface Cathedral and enjoyed a beautiful sun, lush greenery and so many smiles and effortless posing! Here are some highlights from our evening grad photo session:
