Nicole, a registered psychologist in Winnipeg, reached out to me earlier this spring looking to get some professional headshots of herself and her new private practice. She had seen some other therapist headshots I had taken and felt there could be a good connection. We started chatting about doing a branding portrait session in her new office on Corydon Avenue, and I was immediately all in! The plan was to capture a mix of formal headshots and casual portraits throughout her space, and to get the photos done on a relatively quick timeline.
Nicole’s space was warm, calming and inviting – reflecting exactly who she is in person. She was an absolute delight to work with and having conversation with her felt familiar and comfortable. She has a big heart and is a naturally genuine person, and my intention was to capture those qualities (and more) in her photo shoot.
