Keiki Krate is an online toy store and their philosophy is all about presence over pace, no milestones, no markers. When they approached me to take photos of their products, we wanted to make sure to design a photo shoot that would encompass their values: meaningful moments between parents and their children, and unhurried play. We chose a location that reflected their design aesthetic and we captured their brand with these timeless photos for their website, social media and marketing materials.

Lemon Sugar Bar requested some new images to capture their new products in a fun and fresh vibe. The scents were absolutely delightful but capturing that on screen is impossible. So, we decided to include colourful food props as visuals that would help viewers imagine how good these products smell.
Lemon Sugar Bar dropped off the products at the studio and Emily Janzen, my professional photo stylist, did all the prop sourcing, styling and product set ups. I love the vision, professionalism and creativity she brings to all my product photo shoots! Here’s a preview of the final collection of images:

Susan of A Little Nutrition was looking to have a photographer create some fresh, personalized new content for her website and social media last year, so we talked about setting her up on an annual photography plan where she’d be able to get several photo shoots in order to capture a variety of settings, people and content.
Sometimes the standard professional headshot photos are necessary, but for them I wanted to capture something a bit more casual, engaging and warm. Susan’s staff are all such lovely people, so it wasn’t hard to capture warmth and personality in these portraits! It was also lovely to be able to schedule an outdoor lifestyle portrait photo session at the Forks with them to capture an even more friendly and light feel to their commercial headshots.

When Almond Nail Bar reached out to me needing social media content photography for their Instagram account, I immediately knew that I would be bringing in Emily Janzen of Feast and Festivities to do the styling.
After a few meetings, brainstorming and creating a vision for the photo shoot, Emily and I gathered at the Kinship Studio with a few models to create these photos.
It was really rewarding seeing the final product after weeks of work on this project. Here are the final images that were delivered the client.

Ashley approached me earlier this Spring needing some updated headshots for her business. If you know her, you know that smile: which comes from her authentic, joyful, bubbly self that is a constant.
She can light up any room and capturing these portraits of her was a true delight. I love her entrepreneurial spirit and she is an inspiration to many. I wish her continued success in her business endeavours, she’s amazing!
