Winnipeg got its first big snowfall of the year today, and so did my mini sessions indoors! But lucky for these kids, we were warm and cozy inside the studio, for the third round of styled mini photo sessions this year. This time, we’re capping off the year with the cutest, coziest winter scenes to get in the mood for the Christmas holidays! Emily Janzen of Feast & Festivities did a fantastic job at styling both scenes and providing fun props for the kids to enjoy. I think the hit today was the fake snow and the marshmallows. These mini sessions are always so much fun!
If you’d like to take part in the next styled mini sessions, make sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram – that’s where I post the latest news and updates. These mini sessions are such a hit, and we plan on doing another 2 or 3 sessions in 2018 again. See you then!

I met up with these two as they were celebrating their recent engagement in Winnipeg. It was a cold winter day, so we started the session indoors at Winnipeg’s beautiful and historic Hamilton Building on Main Street. But a winter photo session wouldn’t be complete without going outdoors in the snow so we then headed to St. Vital Park to capture a few more portraits. Congratulations to these two lovebirds, who will be heading out of country for their wedding in just a few short months!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting up with Ashley and Jeremy at the Forks for some lovely winter engagement photos. There was a light dusting of snow and relatively mild temperatures for this time of year so we took full advantage of the beautiful winter scenes along the Assiniboine River. Here’s a sneak peek for now, more photos coming soon!
