Here are some highlights from our 2019 winter minis. We’ll have a similar vibe but as always, Emily changes things up every year to keep things unique!
They are happening on Sunday November 4th, 2018 in an all-white Winnipeg studio. The sessions are 15 minutes long, $175 + taxes, include a proofing gallery and 5 high-res edited digital photos of your choice.
They will be styled by the super talented Emily Janzen of Feast & Festivities. I’ve been working with her for several years and she always comes up with a new and unique styled set that is both beautiful and practical for kids to play in!
This time Emily is working on a woodsy, minimal set for your little(s) to play in, let their imaginations run wild, or snuggle up with siblings.
Kids love these sessions because they’re fun… parents love it because it’s short enough for kids with small attention spans… and we love it because it produces gorgeous portraits of happy kiddos!

Here’s a visual of what we have in store for the styled set:
Winnipeg got its first big snowfall of the year today, and so did my mini sessions indoors! But lucky for these kids, we were warm and cozy inside the studio, for the third round of styled mini photo sessions this year. This time, we’re capping off the year with the cutest, coziest winter scenes to get in the mood for the Christmas holidays! Emily Janzen of Feast & Festivities did a fantastic job at styling both scenes and providing fun props for the kids to enjoy. I think the hit today was the fake snow and the marshmallows. These mini sessions are always so much fun!
If you’d like to take part in the next styled mini sessions, make sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram – that’s where I post the latest news and updates. These mini sessions are such a hit, and we plan on doing another 2 or 3 sessions in 2018 again. See you then!
I’ve been pretty lucky to have Harper become a familiar face at all my styled mini sessions in the last few years. And even if it’s only been a few months since the last mini sessions, I can still count on seeing that adorable little face show up for yet another mini session! The fun thing this summer was that we returned to the same park where we first met at her mini session when she was just a baby. She’s such a ray of sunshine, full of character and cuteness. She’s got the perfect mix of sweetness with a spunky personality and I just love love love taking her photos. Today I’m finishing up editing her gallery and I just had to share a few of them here!
Summertime is all about ice cream cones, bubbles, smelling fresh flowers and running in the grass bare foot! Winnipeg’s been experiencing such a beautiful summer so I decided it would be a great idea to put together another edition of my styled mini photo sessions for kids, this time outdoors to capture all of that summery goodness we all love! I had the ever amazing Emily of Feast & Festivities style the set and her work reflected exactly the vision I had in mind. She has a way of setting up a scene that promotes such fun & candid moments of kids at play. It was so fun taking all these photos, and as always, the time flies by so fast! But not before thousands of frames of photos were shot on both my cameras. I pulled out a few highlights from last night’s shoot to showcase below. Soon the families will get access to their private proofing galleries to view their images and make their selections. Can’t wait to share more!
