Custom Photography For Freynet-Gagné Translation and Consulting

Freynet-Gagné Translation and Consulting wanted their website photos to feel more personal and approachable so they contacted me to plan a photo shoot for this project. To move away from the stock images they had on their website, we focused on creating real, custom photos of their actual team.

We started by taking professional headshots for their team then we staged team collaboration shots in a co-working space to capture the energy of their work.

Creating custom photos like this showcases the real people behind the business and this gives their website a more authentic, human touch.

Shooting in a dark office after sunset presented some challenges, but by setting up my off-camera lighting, I was able to brighten up the space without losing the natural, inviting atmosphere they wanted.

Our location, without proper lighting.

The results after setting up my lights.

The result: sharp, high-quality images that felt both professional and genuine—perfect for reflecting their true brand.

Big shout out to Launch Co-Working space for letting us rent their offices for the photo shoot!

Freynet-Gagné’s website now has a fresh, polished look, and my goal is to help visitors connect with them and feel more confident in their services.

Highlights from 2024

As I finish off my busiest photography year of my career, I thought I’d post a small snippet of the photos I took in 2024. It was very hard to cull down to these photos only – so many more photos were worth highlighting! But to keep it brief-ish, here they are:

Casual Business Headshot Photography

When looking for corporate headshots that feel a bit more personal, I always suggest doing an environmental portrait – or something closer to a lifestyle portrait photo session. These types of headshot photography sessions can be done on location, in your office or place of business and I bring portable studio lights to help boost the natural light. These portrait sessions are relaxed and have a casual feel to them – it’s perfect for communicating warmth, approachability and connection.

Professional Branding Headshots at Allure Studios

Back in the fall I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Red Moon Creatives to capture professional branding headshots of their client Dr. Jason Brooks for his new website. We met up at the Manhattan Studio at Allure Studios and I used a mix of natural and studio lighting to capture a collection of portraits for Jason. It was a really fun session with multiple outfit changes, using a variety of walls and backdrops inside the studio. The final photos fit in perfectly to his newly redesigned website, which you can check out here: www.coachjb.ca

Thanks to Dania and Mayo of Red Moon for organizing the photo shoot – they are excellent people to work with! Here is a preview from my session with Jason at Allure:

Winnipeg Headshot Photography: Ashley

Ashley approached me earlier this Spring needing some updated headshots for her business. If you know her, you know that smile: which comes from her authentic, joyful, bubbly self that is a constant.

She can light up any room and capturing these portraits of her was a true delight. I love her entrepreneurial spirit and she is an inspiration to many. I wish her continued success in her business endeavours, she’s amazing!
