As I finish off my busiest photography year of my career, I thought I’d post a small snippet of the photos I took in 2024. It was very hard to cull down to these photos only – so many more photos were worth highlighting! But to keep it brief-ish, here they are:

My 2024 wedding photography season was kicked off with the most beautiful and genuine story of love, with two of the most inspirational people around! Joshua and Cherrell had a quaint and intimate wedding ceremony, filled with family and friends, which also included a large group of super cute children! I loved how warm and inviting the entire celebration was, planned with such care and intention. To be there to witness these two lovebirds tie the knot was nothing short of profound and heartwarming.
And these two are such pros! In just under 2 hours, we captured a full collection of images. Here is a preview of their wedding afternoon!
Barb and Malcolm’s plans to have a simple yet meaningful spring wedding came together perfectly. After their first look in their backyard, they exchanged vows at home with their closest family, keeping the day personal and relaxed. We then took family photos and couple portraits at FortWhyte, one of my favourite locations inside the city to get a gorgeous, natural background. It’s especially pretty there in the spring, specifically when the flowers and leaves are freshly out in late May!
The celebrations continued with an intimate dinner at Preservation Hall, filled with laughter, good food, and heartfelt moments. Capturing their wedding was a joy and a reminder that the best weddings focus on love, connection, and the people who matter most.
Thank you to Neffi from Allure Studios for being an awesome second photographer for the day, she helped to capture secondary angles and candid moments while I was focusing on the main photos. Here’s a little preview from their wedding photo collection:
Renae and Jesse got married on a late Spring day, and every detail that went into their celebration was heartfelt, sweet and absolutely beautiful. They are so very well surrounded by family and friends, and it was evident to see that they value those relationships deeply. It was so beautiful to see the support and care that everyone covered them with and as a photographer, it’s a such a delight to be able to capture all the intimate moments that come together on a wedding day. And yes, one of the songs at the dance party was Jessie’s Girl. Had to be played, and everyone LOVED it!
Sav and Rob put SO much thought and care into their wedding day which included lots of friends and family and some super amazing locations in Winnipeg! The backdrops we had and the colours that were included were helping me create such a stunning collection of wedding photos and I had SO much fun capturing it all! They had two fun stops downtown: the first was at Little Brown Jug where we used their delightful patio and cool interiors for some photos with a pop of colour. The second stop was at Nonsuch Brewery where everyone got to relax and have a drink while I had the utmost joy taking photos of it all. The day came full circle at FortWhyte Alive where they got married overlooking the sun soaked water surrounded by beautiful trees and the sense of truly being in nature. The vibe was 100% reflecting their true selves and being their photographer was pure joy. Here are some highlights from their day!
