One of the most common ways of taking headshots for my clients is by setting up my mobile studio in their office space. This includes a simple backdrop (in this case it was white, and they requested a slight grey tone, which was adjusted by lighting the scene slightly darker).
This set up is conveniently installed in the board room and one by one, staff can come in to get their photos taken. It’s a great way to update staff headshots without having to travel to a location off-site from your office. Here are the results:

In 2019 I had the pleasure of photographing Miranda and Mike’s winter wedding, and instead of using the engagement session in their wedding package for engagement photos, they swapped it out for a future family photo session. The day finally came and I got to meet Annick, their adorable 1 year old daughter, who is full of spunk and curiosity. We met up at St. Vital Park to take photos in the flower garden and it was so much fun catching all these memories for them. What a beautiful family!
I love multi-generational family photo sessions! When you have grandparents, their grown children, and each of their own little families come together for a photo shoot, it’s so special being able to create images to remember this wonderful time in their life. I met up with the Malone family at St. Vital Park one early summer morning and what a fun time we had capturing all these moments!
I met Julia and Simeon earlier this year and what a treat it was to learn more about their love story, how they met and their big plans for tying the knot later this season. They’re such lovely people and together they are joining their love and life and I couldn’t be more honoured to photograph their journey. Yesterday we met up in Royalwood where they had their first date: walking on the trails inside Bois-des-Esprits. We even found the exact bench where they sat on the moment Julia knew that he was going to be her forever one. The blossoms are now out, and even though Winnipeg is in desperate need of some rain, we still found pockets of greenery and beautiful flowering trees to compliment the heart of this session. Just a few more weeks before they their wedding day. Can’t wait!
Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Liz and Geordie got married at the Winnipeg Art Gallery last month and what a beautiful day of celebration it was! It was surprisingly mild for late October and we fully embraced it with some outdoor photos at Stephen Juba Park. We then stopped at Stella’s for some drinks and a few candid photos, followed by some wedding couple photos inside the Plug In Gallery building, then on to the WAG for family photos and then they topped it off with their heart-warming wedding ceremony. It was a relatively short wedding day (4 hours of photography coverage) but we documented the most meaningful moments and their wedding collection reflects exactly who they are: fun, genuine and absolutely lovely! It was such a pleasure being there to capture it all!
