If you think a March wedding in Winnipeg might not be the best time of year for a wedding, think again… Miranda and Mike chose such a beautiful day and gorgeous locations and combined with their chemistry and authenticity, it was such a perfect assemblage of all things lovely! Surrounded by their closest family members and friends, they tied the knot in a quaint and intimate setting at the historic Fort Gibraltar. We captured some romantic portraits of the two of them with just the most perfect sunset glow and finished the day with a cozy reception into the evening. These two absolutely glow when they’re together and it was a true delight to document their day for them. Félicitations Miranda & Mike!

These two lovely humans got married last September at the Leo Mol Garden in Assiniboine Park and with all the colours, the emotions, the poetic words, the partying, it perfectly reflected their relationship & dynamic. When that authenticity comes through visually, it’s even more of a joy to photograph! Veronica and Matt have a connection that is both deep & abundant with love & affection and seeing them together brings me such joy. We had absolutely beautiful weather, combined with the perfect time of year to get those Fall colours, which resulted in such a delightful mood coming through in all their wedding photos. Their reception was held at the Assiniboine Park Conservatory and the speeches were so well spoken followed by such a great dance party – every element of their day was well thought out and I could tell every single one there enjoyed it all! 2016: A Year in Review

As 2016 comes to a close, I look back on all my photo sessions from the past year with joy and a thankful heart. 2016 was my busiest year since I started 9 years ago, and all the hard work was 100% worth it for being able to capture all these moments of love and togetherness. To everyone who asked me to photograph them: thank you from the bottom of my heart, your stories are inspiring and they continue to deepen my love for photography! This is just a small handful of highlights, wish I could include each and every shoot from 2016!

Ahlea & Jason – Wedding at PineRidge Hollow

I first met Ahlea and Jason earlier this year to chat about their wedding, and I instantly found a connection with them. Such a warm, down-to-earth and lovely couple, I was absolutely thrilled to be their wedding photographer! In the weeks leading to their wedding, the weather got a little cooler and the leaves started changing colours, but their day at PineRidge Hollow was absolutely beautiful. Although it rained exactly during the time they had planned for their outdoor ceremony, it didn’t put a damper on the day. They quickly shifted things indoors, and we still had plenty of time before and after for wedding portraits outside at PineRidge Hollow and also inside Birds Hill Park. I’m such a big fan of this venue – I’ve been there for weddings in the Spring, Summer and Fall, and it never disappoints!

Ahlea and Jason radiate love, and it was such a delight being there to capture the big moments as well as the candid moments that added personality to their day. It was especially fun having their two dogs join us for some portraits! Surrounded by their closest family and friends, these two clearly enjoyed every moment of their day and I couldn’t have been more happy to celebrate with them. Congrats you two!

April + Matias: Wedding at PineRidge Hollow

Planning a wedding in Manitoba is no small feat when you live out of province, but April and Matias had a clear vision of what they wanted and were able to execute it absolutely beautifully! With lots of family and friends traveling from all over the world to come celebrate their wedding, the party certainly did not disappoint. From the decor, to the food, to the beautiful venue and super lively dance floor, this was definitely a fun wedding to attend! It was a true delight taking photos of their wedding, they are such a sweet couple and undoubtedly madly in love. It’s also a huge pleasure being at PineRidge Hollow to photograph weddings there – it’s such a beautiful venue for a ceremony and reception, and just a short drive from Winnipeg. Win win! Congrats you two!
